An Overview of the 2024 A.N.S.O. Scholarship
The Alliance of International Science Organizations (A.N.S.O.) is the portal for young scientists with worldwide ambitions to apply for the A.N.S.O. Scholarship for Young Talents 2024.
A.N.S.O. is a non-governmental, non-profit international organization that was established in 2018 and currently has 37 member universities, organizations, and institutions worldwide.
This scholarship is mostly funded by the China Academy of Sciences (C.A.S.), with additional funding for ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO Ph.D. scholarship winners from T.W.A.S. and UNESCO.
USTC and UCAS are the universities taking part in the ANSO Scholarship.
Recipients of the scholarship program might attend prestigious universities like the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or other CAS Institutes.
In 1958, USTC became the first Chinese University Academy of Sciences. It has a great reputation globally and is currently a well-known university in China.
The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a forward-thinking institution primarily focused on graduate studies. Over half of the 50,000+ current students at UCAS are doctorate students.
Scholarship Requirements for A.N.S.O. 2024
To qualify for the A.N.S.O. Scholarship for Young Talents 2024, candidates need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Not possess Chinese nationality
- English or Chinese language proficiency for applicants to master’s programs: born after January 1, 1994 (inclusive)
- Applicants to PhD programs must be born after January 1, 1989, inclusive.
- Meet the requirements for admission to USTC/UCAS for international students.
- not take on additional tasks while receiving the scholarship,
- not pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree in China at this time
How to Apply for the ANSO Scholarship?
The application process for the ANSO scholarship is a two-step method.
- The process for this application begins before the commencement date, with professors from these prominent linked universities receiving acceptance letters.
- With the receipt of acceptance letters, half the process of studying in these established institutions shall be used to apply for the ANSO scholarship.
- The second process will be filling out an online application for the ANSO scholarship.
Documents required for the A.N.S.O. Scholarship
- A copy of a passport that is good for at least two years
- A brief synopsis of the research experience and CV
- Give a research execution strategy and maintain a record of awards and certifications.
