About the Fully-funded Erasmus Mundus EMLex Scholarship for International Students

The varied range of activities the Erasmus Mundus EMLex Scholarship offers makes it an exceptionally attractive and unique international study plan. The two-year model gives students the choice to spend the second semester with all other students at one university, which changes annually.

It is scheduled for the summer semester 2025 at Ilia State University in Georgia. During the third semester, study at a third EMLex consortium university is permitted upon request. Studies are conducted at their local colleges throughout the first and fourth semesters.

Candidates for Erasmus Mundus can designate the choices they would like to see at their home university; the selection committee divides the applications equally among the partner universities.

Students must apply to be considered for the Erasmus Mundus EMLex Scholarship program. For each intake, 32 university slots are available. Furthermore, if their application is accepted, students can enroll in the Erasmus Mundus EMLex master’s degree on a self-financing basis.

A spot at the university of their first choice will be guaranteed to students who choose this course of study. Erasmus+ will pay for their semester abroad.

Scholarship Value

For the full length of the study program (up to 24 months), scholarship candidates will receive a scholarship worth 1400 euros per month, which they can use to cover living and installation expenses, travel expenses, and visa and residency permit applications.

The EMJMD-EMLex participation fees are also included in the funding. These participation fees pay for any extra costs you incur during your study. They mostly include health insurance, library fees, tuition, administrative charges, and cultural events.
