Scholarship Coverage
The annual award for the University of Twente Scholarship ranges from € 3,000 to € 22,000. Should a student want to pursue a two-year study program, they might be qualified for an additional U.T.S. that would pay the costs of the second year to the same extent as the first year. However, the students must meet the U.T.S. application requirements to renew the scholarship in the second year.
You must have obtained the following: a final third-quartile score at the end of the first year of seven (out of ten). By the end of the third quarter of the first year, at least 50% of European Credits
The Twente University Scholarship Conditions
For you to be considered for the University of Twente Scholarship (U.T.S.), you must fulfill the requirements stated below:
- Language Requirement: You satisfy the general English language test requirements, which include a TOEFL iBT of 90 or an additional 6.0 on the Academic IELTS speaking skills subscore (or a TOEFL iBT of 20).
- Every country in the globe is qualified.
- Applying for a U.T. scholarship is different from applying for a course at the University of Twente. Regardless of funding, you need first to get an admissions letter.
- Your admission to one of the eligible UT Master programs is (provisionally) scheduled to begin in September of the next academic year. Please be advised that it may take up to eight weeks to obtain the results after submitting your application.

How To Apply for a Scholarship at the University of Twente?
To be eligible for the University of Twente Scholarship, please follow these instructions:
- The first step is to apply to a Master’s program. You must create an account on the university website.
- Upon submitting an application for a Master’s program and receiving a (conditional) acceptance letter, you can use your student number to apply for the scholarship.
- Complete the online application to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Before anything else, applicants need to supply their student number, which they can get through their Studielink account.
- Fill out the form completely and attach the required files before the deadline.
- Two hours are remaining on February 1, 2024, the application deadline.
